For Top Gear UK fans like many of us, this piece of news may be heart breaking. We may not able to see Jeremy Clarkson, James May, Richard Hammond and the Stig in action, until maybe in 2013 as there won’t be any new episodes of Top Gear in 2012. This revelation was announced during a radio interview in South Africa with Clarkson during the Top Gear Live show over there. For that series 19 will be out, maybe by January 2013.

As quoted by Clarkson “It is going to be, it better be absolutely fantastic, it’s also about the only time the three of us are working together this year because there’s no Top Gear on this year.”

This may be caused by the Summer Olympics in London which starts in 27 July to 12 August 2012 in which the summer show for Top Gear will be aired, looks like we will be watching Synchronized Swimming or table tennis rather than seeing three middle age men in many motoring adventures. But looking into the positives, the longer time they have to film the new series, the better the quality we can expect. No word from BBC to confirm this as well.

For that, screw you Olympics!!!!!
