After weeks of speculation, Proton has officially announced that ‘Preve’ is the official name for the P3-21A, and it is pronounced as ‘prae-vae’ (I’m still not 100% sure how to pronounce it!). Like what I’ve mentioned in our previous post, the name ‘Preve’ means ‘to prove’.

The following details are even juicier! The following are the latest pricing for the new Proton Preve, and it is confirmed to be launched on April 16th by the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak. The pricing starts from RM59,540 for the 1.6 Executive Manual trim to RM73,990 for the 1.6 CFE Premium CVT trim. The pricing is actually slightly lesser than what is indicated previously. For that we are very excited for the new Proton Preve and hopefully we can secure a test drive after the launch to see if Proton has finally produced a car to “Preve” the world it can finally produce a world class car.
