If it happens to be you whom just bought a new Honda Civic in China recently, chances are either you almost had an accident or already hit a tree nearby. This is because of a recent flaw on the steering wheels which rotates to the right side when they are turned far left. (!!!)

Yes, it is the same Honda Civic FD

The Civic’s, in total of 2,270 units made between Sept 26 and Nov 17 and assembled by Honda’s partner in China, Dongfeng, were forced to be recalled due to this ridiculous flaw. The reason found was the workers had forgotten to install self-locking nuts in the steering boxes of some vehicles.

Well if that happens in China lately, we can understand why

China’s consumer quality watchdog said today the automaker promised to check all affected vehicles, replace defective parts free of charge and eliminate other risks. Meanwhile, the poor workers who were responsible behind this mess has been either 1. Fired 2. Executed by firing squad or 3. Committed suicide. No news on the fate of the workers yet though.
