The introduction of the new Subaru BRZ means a new machine for Subaru in 2012’s season of Super GT in Japan. Replacing the Legacy B4 used in the past few years in the GT300 category, this car will be competing in the GT300 category which means it will have the output of 300HP only. Fret not, the GT300 is the most heated competition in the Super GT with various manufacturers from BMW, Lamborghini, Lexus, Ferrari, Toyota, Nissan, Porsche and many more are participating.

That’s not all, here we found a rumor saying that hybrids will be making their debut in the GT300 in Super GT, with Toyota might replacing the Corolla Axio with the Prius GT300 car, just like how imagined below. No confirmation from Toyota yet on this, but we’ll let this image tease you on how the 2012 Super GT season will going to be even more spectacular!
