Every end of the year, Top Gear’s Jeremy Clarkson will release his DVD on cars. Take it as an extended version of Top Gear UK, which is always good for petrol heads and fans of Top Gear. Usually, in his DVD, Clarkson will select the best and the fastest supercars and sports cars of the year and he will pick his favorite by the end of the DVD. Most notably, pyrotechnics were used quite often to destroy the worst cars he thinks, which includes the Perodua Kelisa which Clarkson quoted the worst car ever made in his 2005 DVD release, Heaven and Hell, which sparked outrage in the Malaysia Parliament.
So come this year his new release is called “Powered Up”. Set at Paul Ricard circuit in France, Clarkson burns rubber on a variety of supercars from McLaren MP4-12C, Nissan GTR, BAC Mono, Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder and many more. Team Lotus reserve driver, Karun Chandhok also joins the fun with Clarkson this time. Also expect Clarkson’s tribute for the evergreen classic, the Jaguar E-Type Convertible, which should be monumental.
Available in DVD and Blu Ray on 7 November 2011, this is a must watch for petrol heads. Meanwhile, please enjoy the 4 minute trailer of “Powered Up”.
