What we found from a source revealing leaked brochure of the upcoming Perodua 1.5cc variant of Malaysia’s most popular supermini car, Perodua Myvi. This time it comes with two variants, the SE (Special Edition) and the Extreme edition.

The longly awaited model uses the similiar 3SZ-VE engine sourced from Daihatsu, which generates approx 102HP to this car. Both models come with standard equipment of standard dual air bags, ABS and EBD, sports semi bucket seats, multimedia system with GPS navigation. The only difference is, in the Extreme model, it uses a rather funky and racy bodykit, leather seats, touch screen multimedia and GPS system, and tinted glass.

The Myvi SE starts at a rather attractive price, RM50,900 for the solid manual to RM56,500 for the metalic automatic version. Meanwhile the Extreme version starts from RM58,200 for the solid manual to RM61,700 for the metallic automatic transmission. The attractive and competitive pricing must be attributed from tremendous pressure from rivals Proton with the Saga’s FLX model. The car is now open for booking at any nearest Perodua showrooms and the official launching date for this car is on 16th September 2011 as our sources suggested.

With the tagline “Lagi Best, Lagi Power” (translated in English as “even better, even more powerful”), Perodua has a true winner to stay as the top passenger car manufacturer in Malaysia. More pictures from the leaked brochure as below.
