As reported previously on our website, Proton will introduce a new line of Saga with CVT gearbox in Malaysia. I’ve found these rather interesting pictures of the new Saga FLX with CVT on the net.

The Saga FLX.

From this pic, it seem that the Saga FLX has a new color. A bit darker than the Cafe Latte option on the Regular FL.

Yup, the Saga FLX

The CVT equipped will be called the Saga FLX. This is not official yet, but if the badge is there, I’m guessing that the name should stick.

New meter cluster

Sharp eyes reader would notice that. And like most CVT equipped cars, this one also has the “S” Mode. If memory serves me correctly, these meters are also seen on the older Saga 25th Anniversary Edition.

Peek-a-boo! The new CVT gearbox hiding under the airbox.

Surprise surprise

Yes, the Saga finally has ABS brakes. There goes the MYVI. One more thing, I do believe this car will be launched anytime soon, considering the fact that this car has no camouflage at all. And there are also no trade plates. We are not too sure about prices as yet, but I do believe it’ll be slightly less than the Saga FL 1.6’s price of RM46,000.
