Yes, “NOT”. It was only two weeks ago when we were all excited about all new Porsche 911 to have F1-like KERS. “That’s nonsense!”, is how Porsche’s high-level executive responded to the “Internet speculation”.

The Porsche executive said there’s no such plan and as the system is only applied to a race car currently. He or she also hinted that the 911 range will never be a hybrid, as the automaker is trying not to use a small powerplant to feed batteries powering electric motors. But when it’s the right time, it will most likely be a plug-in.

As for now, hybrid technology is only applied to the Panamera and Cayenne.
