3D projection has seemed to become a favourable marketing tool for automakers to market their new creations. Previously it was Hyundai that displayed a massive 3D projection in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for its new Hyundai Accent. Now, Lexus had the same idea, promoting its latest hybrid CT 200h and it was held in conjunction with Earth Day.

The projection was done on The Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood using a 3D projection featuring architectural light mapping technology. The animation projected on the wall, windows and fire-escapes of the hotel has an amazing 3D effect.

The compact-sized hybrid CT 200h is powered by a 1.8 liter petrol engine that works with an electric motor, a high performance battery and a generator, with a combined output of 134 HP. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 kph in 10.3 seconds, top speed of 181 kph. Pretty interior too.
