Once one of the largest aftermarket JDM performance part companies in the States, HKS USA is shutting down after almost 30 years in operation. However, all its operations will be transfered to Japan by this summer, and HKS will serve the US market from Japan. According to an official letter from HKS USA, the slow economic recovery, shrinking market of aftermarket products, weakening US Dollar and the disaster in Japan are the factors to the decision made.
