This year, Chevrolet Camaro is celebrating its 45th birthday and General Motors has revealed a special edition Camaro to commemorate this special year.

The car will be getting an extra 11 ponies for its birthday as the upgraded 3.6 liter V6 can now generate 323 horsepower. It has also been dressed up with Carbon Flash Metallic paint and special red and silver rally stripes on the hood. As for the interior, Jet Black leather upholstery with the 45th anniversary logos on the seats, steering wheel, instrument panel and sill plates.

Launching at the Camaro5 Fest II on April 15, 2011 in Arizona, the anniversary package will be offered on Camaro’s top two trim levels (2LT and 2SS) for both coupe and convertible body styles. Happy birthday Chevy Camaro!!
