A consumer celebrated World Consumer Rights Day on March 15 by smashing up his Lamborghini Gallardo in public. This Chinese Lamborghini owner decided to do this after his Lambo failed to work after a service at an official Lamborghini service center.

He hired a group of people with sledgehammers to destroy the Gallardo in the city of Qingdao, China. This protest was made to provoke public support and get Lamborghini’s attention as a manufacturer to respect his consumer rights.

But, but.. a new Lamborghini Gallardo costs between US$529,000 and US$757,000 USD in China, a little expensive for consumer rights awareness, isn’t it??
