After all the hoo-haa from Italian design house Bertone at the recent 2011 Geneva Motor Show, it’s time to throw their little art project into the bin. Jaguar has just dismissed Bertone’s B99 sedan concept.
We at Hanzo Racing would like to… thank God! The purple car is just hideous! The Italians are trying too hard to design a handsome-looking car, but this is not working!
It is said that the concept car was created independently by the Italian design house without the involvement of the British automaker. Rumour has it that this concept will be the successor to the discontinued X-Type. Jaguar’s global brand director Adrian Hallmark, the British automaker is passing on the concept car. “We appreciate the fact that Jaguar is interesting enough for people to do a concept around,” says Hallmark. “It is just not for us.”
Thank you Hallmark and we think you guys are doing just fine with the latest Jaguar XF and XJ. Don’t let these Italian nuthead designers ruin it!
