This year, the Italians are celebrating the 150th anniversary of the unification of Italy. And at the same time, Gucci’s 90th anniversary. Fiat, the Italian automaker has had a plan for celebration. Together with Gucci, Fiat unveiled a special edition Fiat 500. Customized by Gucci Creative Director Frida Giannini, it is the 500 by Gucci.

This little Gucci was launched on the opening day of Milan Fashion Week and it will also be displayed at the coming Geneva Auto Show. The Fiat 500 has seemed to become an iconic cute little car, as you may still remember from our previous post, a Chinese man spent €500,000 on a 500, which was designed by tuning firm Fenice Milano.

Priced that starts from 17,000 euro in Italy, the 500 by Gucci will be available from April 1st to June 30th exclusively by pre-order online. Followed by the European commercial launch in July and will then be available in the rest of the world at the end of the year.
