I believe everybody knows perhaps the most iconic model from the Volkswagen family. Nope, not Golf or Buggati Veyron. It’s the car that started the Porsche 911 and provided mass transportation to Germany during pre WW2. It is the Volkswagen Beetle. We’ve been hearing from Volkswagen that the new Beetle is in development.

Wait no more as there are some leaked images of the supposed new Volkswagen Beetle, and for us, it does look like a mini Porsche Panamera. It has longer sides, thickened C-pillar and higher hatch. It looks like they have done their best to modernize the aging design. No words about the specs but perhaps expect the usual DSG 7-speed gearbox or a possible 1.4L twincharger engine as well.
Still, overall we do not fancy with the design but we shall find out the final version on future motorshows.
