After 7 years of design, development and testing, Zonda’s replacement has finally arrived. Known during its development as the C9, this new beauty is now named after the Andean God of Wind, Aymara Huayra Tata.
Pagani Huayra, the Italian marque’s one million Euro hypercar is an absolute beauty! Powered by a bi-turbo 6.0-litre V12 from Mercedes’s AMG division, she it shares the same engine block as Mercedes’s own SL65 Black. She It will be available in two versions; Standard engine (700bhp & 664lb ft) and Sport version (730bhp and 811lb ft). Pagani claims it could achieve 230mph, 0-62mph in 3.3sec during testing.
This mid-engine, Rear Wheel Drive, Italian lightweight hypercar is built around an all-new carbon-titanium monocoque frame while the body parts are constructed from carbonfiber. In addition, like the Merc SLS, this newcomer has a pair of enormous gullwing doors. It looks like the 50’s gullwing is back!
