Video: 2018 Honda Civic Type R (FK8) review

The Honda Civic Type R FD2 generation that was officially sold in Malaysia a decade ago was the poster car for many teenage boys and with Honda Malaysia skipped the FN2R generation completely, the all-new FK8R marks the return of the mighty Type R in Malaysia and also the return of GC Mah in another episode of #isthiscar4u:

Powered by a K20C1 2.0-litre four-cylinder VTEC Turbo engine pushing out 310 hp and 400 Nm of twist. Drive is channelled to the front wheels via a six-speed close ratio manual transmission with Rev Match System allowing the Type R to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.8 seconds all the way to the 272 km/h mark.

While the Civic Type R does not come with rear parking sensors it does hold the title of fastest front-wheel-drive production car on six racetracks around the world including the Nürburgring Nordschleife. Question is, would you have RM330k (OTR without insurance including SST) to spare?
