The Mercedes-Benz C 200 Avantgarde Line is powered by the new 1.5-litre four-cylinder engine with a 48-volt on-board generator, known as the EQ Boost, for an additional 13 hp and 160 Nm of torque on top of the 184 hp and 280 Nm available. Completing the powertrain is a 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission.

As for the exterior, you’ll get a set of newly designed 18-inch multi-spoke wheels, twin tailpipe exhaust system and newly-designed LED High Performance headlamps, to go with a more aggressive front and rear bumper design.

Inside, the standard features include a 12.3-inch digital cockpit, a new high resolution 10.25-inch media display and a new leather-wrapped steering wheel.

In terms of driver assistance systems, the updated C200 Avantgarde is added with Blind Spot Assist, on top of the active parking assist and cruise control features.

As for the C300 AMG Line, it gets 258 hp and 370 Nm from a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine, similarly paired to the 9G-TRONIC transmission. Unlike the C200, the C300’s ride is supplemented by the AIRMATIC suspension.

Unlike the previous C300, the new car gets the grille from the pre-facelift C43 AMG 4MATIC, along with 19-inch five twin spoke AMG wheels, Multibeam LED headlamps, and of course the AMG Line bits.

Inside, you get similar displays from the C200 but it’s more plush with Nappa leather, black open pore ash wood trim, a panoramic sunroof, a Burmester Sound System. The interior can be had in either black, brown or red. Also new to the C300 is the Active Lane Keeping Assist system.

The C200 Avantgarde is priced at RM259,888, while the C 300 AMG Line carries a RM304,888 price tag. The new C-Class will be available with the Flex-C financing services from as low as RM 2,688 (22% downpayment and 3-year tenure). The Flex-C deal will also be offered with a complimentary first year tyre and rim insurance package until 31st December 2018.
