Mercedes-Benz UK is now offering the recently debuted Mercedes-Benz X-Class with a 3.0-litre V6 turbodiesel. The V6 powered pick up sits at the top of the local X-Class line up with a price tag of £38,350 (RM203k).
The X-Class 350d 4MATIC wears the POWER equipment line that features LED high-performance headlamps and taillamps, keyless entry, chrome finish on the under guard, rear bumper, fog lamp housing and shoulder line trim strips. A set of 18-inch six-twin-spoke alloy wheels is standard fitment.
Inside, the range-topping X-Class features eight-way powered front seats, ARTICO leather and DINAMICA microfiber upholstery, seven-inch Audio 20 CD infotainment display (Command Online can be had as an option), multifunctional steering wheel with paddle shifters as well as aluminium interior trim.
Under the bonnet is a 3.0-litre V6 turbodiesel with 258 hp and 550 Nm of torque that is paired to a seven-speed 7G-Tronic Plus automatic transmission. The 4MATIC permanent all-wheel drive system feature three driving mode – 4MAT, 4H and 4L to take on different terrains. Mercedes-Benz’s Dynamic Select is also present here to allow the X-Class to cycle between five different driving modes – Eco, Comfort, Sport, Off-Road and Manual.
Safety wise, UK-spec X-Class 350d 4MATIC comes equipped with seven airbags, Active Lane Keeping Assist, Active Brake Assist (radar-based autonomous emergency braking), Traffic Sign Assist, Hill-Start Assist, Downhill Speed Regulation, a Thatcham anti-theft security package and a load securing rail system standard.
