This BMW M2 with M Performance Parts Concept kit looks so sick!

The new BMW M Performance Parts Concept is based on the BMW M2, with a Frozen Black finish and a total weight reduction of more than 60 kilograms.

On the outside, the kit consists of a carbon front radiator grille, carbon fibre bonnet (saves 8kg), carbon fibre front side panels (saves 3kg),  carbon fibre front winglets and the carbon fibre side sill winglets.

Lowering the car’s centre of gravity and saving another 6 kilograms is the M Performance carbon fibre roof while the 19-inch M Performance forged wheel 763M Y-spoke wheels in Frozen Gold (6 kg lighter than stock wheels), in our opinion, goes perfectly with the other gold accents around the car.

At the back, the kit includes a carbon fibre tailgate (5 kg lighter than standard) with two “kinks” on both sides and a M Performance carbon fibre rear diffuser. The combo just adds so much more aggression to the rear end of the M2; the part of the M2 most would only see.

Inside is a mix of carbon fibre and alcantara with the M Performance carbon fibre sport seats taking centre stage. They’re covered in Alcantara and weighs 9 kg less than the standard seats. If you thought that was impressive, the lightweight madness is also extended to the rear seats, which are 13 kg lighter than the original ones.

Also a prominent feature of the interior is a M Performance steering wheel Pro wrapped with a mix of Alcantara and leather. The same treatment is also extended to the carbon fibre handbrake.

The M Performance Kit is not all show and no go; the M Performance suspension is already available as a retrofit set for serial production vehicles. This coilover suspension enables a lowering of up to 20mm while the damping technology is independently adjustable to 12 different compression stages and 16 different rebound stages.

An additional weight reduction of 14 kilograms is achieved by the use of a lighter BMW battery.
