Video: Porsche 911 GT2 RS, Things You Need To Know

No, unlike the F90 BMW M5 launched recently at the Sepang International Circuit, we didn’t get to fire the GT2 RS’s cannons around our former F1 Grand Prix circuit with unlimited discretion.

That said, there’s still loads of cool stuff we’d like to share with you on the fastest Porsche 911 ever built (probably the 10th time we’ve emphasised this) so here are things you need to know about the latest fire-breather to be unleashed from Zuffenhausen.

In summary, it’s a beast of a car. With 700 hp and 750 Nm of torque from its 3.8-litre twin-turbo flat-six delivered exclusively to the rear wheels, it’ll take someone with courage, skill and more importantly wealth, to tame.

Why? Because you’d arrive at the 100 km/h mark in just 2.8 seconds from standstill and if you’re resilient with the upshifts on its PDK transmission, the GT2 RS will only tire out once it nudges 340 km/h.
