This is the refreshed Audi A4 B9, can you tell what’s new?

It feels like the Audi A4 B9 generation was just launched yesterday but the premium sedan has been around for three years. The four rings decided that it is time that they spice up the A4 with a mid-cycle refresher.

Changes are mostly aesthetics for this refresh exercise with a reshaped front bumper that now has pentagonal contours on the air inlets with aluminium bars along with new alloy wheel designs measuring from 16- to 19-inch.

The S line trim gets a more extensive update, spotting a new 3D Singleframe grille, more pronounced bumper with separate openings to guide air past the wheel for better aerodynamics. Over the rear, S line variants now get trapezoidal exhaust tailpipes that replace the previous oval design.

For the first time, the A4 is available with the S line Competition package that includes a host of sporty bits include front bumper and the stone-chip guard strip in selenite silver, an RS rear spoiler on the A4 Avant, four rings logo on the lower section of the rear doors, Audi Sport 19-inch alloy wheels, red brake calipers, sport suspension and LED headlamps. It also gets a new Turbo Blue paint finish.

Inside the S line Competition builds upon the S line black interior package with RS carbon inlays, three-spoke multifunction steering wheel and black partial leather sport seats.
