New Nissan Serena S-Hybrid, over 2,500 bookings made



Three weeks after the debut of the all-new Nissan Serena S-Hybrid, Edaran Tan Chong Motor (ETCM) has revealed that the company has collected over 2,500 bookings as of 8 June 2018. Of that, 757 units have been registered.

This positive market response mirrors the success of the Serena in its home market where it holds the title of the No. 1 MPV in Japan. Sales and Marketing Director of ETCM, Christopher Tan said: “Bookings for the All-New Nissan Serena S-Hybrid has demonstrated the great acceptance of a hot model from ETCM and we thank all our customers for their support. We will continue to deliver quality products; and at the same time, we are increasing our production to ensure that All-New Nissan Serena S-Hybrid are delivered on time to our valued customers.”

The locally assembled Nissan Serena S-Hybrid is jammed packed with premium features such as first in its class 360-degree Intelligent Around View Monitor (I-AVM), Intelligent Moving Object Detection (I-MOD), Hands-Free Dual Power Sliding Doors, seven USB-Powered Ports, Dual Back Door and six-airbags.

Powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol hybrid engine and XTRONIC CVT, the Serena S-Hybrid packs 150 hp and 200 Nm of torque. With the current zero-rated GST and Duit Raya Savings, the Serena S-Hybrid Premium Highway Star is priced at RM135,195.59 while the Highway Star variant of RM123,874.84, both on-the-road without insurance.
