With a thinner viscosity, the new formula aims to give enhanced fuel economy with lower emissions and at the same time gives you outstanding engine protection and performance under the toughest driving conditions.
Made from fully synthetic motor oil, the Shell Helix Ultra 5W-30 meets the needs of most modern passenger and high-performance vehicles. It contains Shell’s PurePlus Technology and Active Cleansing technology that cleans engine sludge and prevents piston deposits by up 65 percent better than industry standards.
The new engine oil also boasts exceptional low-temperature performance, allowing for quicker engine warm-up. Having a lower viscosity reduces friction between moving parts which in turn improves fuel economy and lowers emissions.
