MINI built a one-off special edition to celebrate a royal wedding

Unlikely to be used as the Prince’s mode of transportation on his big day, the-one-of-a-kind MINI will be instead handed over for public auction with proceeds going to The Children’s HIV Association (CHIVA).

Built for the wedding of Prince Harry, the 6th in line to the British throne, with Meghan Markle, the MINI is finished in Crystal White with Silver-blue accent strips. The Union Jack is embedded into the rear lights with a distinct roof graphic applied meticulously by hand. The roof graphic brings together the elements of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s national flags – the Union Jack and the Stars & Stripes. Elsewhere, also representing the new union are the M and H initials on the side turn indicators.

When the car’s doors are opened, they project an exclusive “Just Married” graphic onto the ground on both sides of the car.Inside, the MINI’s interior looks more like a room for a pubescent teenage girl than a commemorative token of a royal wedding. Details on the glove box, door sills and sunshade further asserts the momentous occasion.
