The new Range Rover Velar has just been launched in Malaysia with three different variants available; the standard P250 Velar, the P250 Velar R-Dynamic and the range-topping P380 Velar R-Dynamic. Here are the Things You Need To Know about Jaguar Land Rover’s latest offering.
At the moment, Jaguar Land Rover Malaysia is only offering the P250 Velar and the P250 Velar R-Dynamic while the P380 Velar R-Dynamic will be introduced later on.
The P250’s are assembled with the new 2.0-litre turbocharged Ingenium engine, similarly found in the 2.0-litre Jaguar F-Pace recently introduced in Malaysia, producing 246 hp and 365 Nm of torque and is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission with Drive Select.
Despite weighing 1,800 kg, the P250 Velars are still expected to hit 100 km/h from standstill in just 6.7 seconds with a top speed of 217 km/h. The P250 Velar is priced at RM 529,800 and the P250 Velar R-Dynamic at RM 588,800. As for the 3.0-litre P380 R-Dynamic, prices will be announced soon.
