We’re pretty sure you’re aware by now that the all-new Bentley Continental GT has arrived on our shores just recently. Following up with that, Bentley Kuala Lumpur invited us for an exclusive preview of the “First Edition” Bentley Continental GT.
Bespoke and exclusively appointed, the interior specification of the Continental GT First Edition has been meticulously curated by the Bentley design team to create the most luxurious Grand Tourer money can buy.
Inside, the same Bentley Rotating Display is fitted which enables a seamless switch between three different displays – a 12.3-inch touchscreen display or a three analogue dial with classic displays.
Exclusive to the First Edition are the four unique Dual Veneers for the dashboard – Tamo Ash, Liquid Amber, Dark Stained Madrona and Dark Fiddleback Eucalyptus – combined with Grand Black. What you’re seeing in the pictures is a combination of Liquid Amber and Grand Black. 
Also exclusive to the First Edition are the contrast stitching on the diamond-in-diamond quilt pattern on the seats, door panels and rear quarter panels; in addition to the unique Union Jack badges found on the dashboard and front fenders.
The sound system fitted into this First Edition is the optional, top-of-the-range Naim audio system with 2200 watts of serenading prowess. The First Edition is included with the City Specification and Touring Specification. The former comes with park assist and pedestrian warning to name a few, while the latter is provided with a head-up display, adaptive cruise control and even Night Vision.
At the heart of the new Continental GT First Edition is an all-new 6.0-litre, twin-turbocharged W12 TSi engine, mated for the first time to a dual-clutch 8-speed transmission.
A total of 626 hp is caressed out of the humongous engine with a highly disturbing 900 Nm of torque – undoubtedly sufficient to power all four wheels (AWD) of the 2,244 kg vehicle made up with the combination of steel and aluminium. 0 to 100 km/h takes just 3.7 seconds, onward to a top speed of 333 km/h.
