In conjunction with the launch of the refreshed Volkswagen Golf Range (TSI, GTI & R), Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) is organising a contest for Malaysian fans to win a trip to Wörthersee GTI Fest 2018, the annual gathering of GTI enthusiast.
Held along the shores of Lake Wörth, Austria, the Wörthersee GTI Fest traces its roots all the way to 1982. Started out as a small gathering of GTI owners, the event is now a full-fledged festival, attracting over 100,000 fans from around the world to celebrate all things Volkswagen. Last year’s instalment saw the German carmaker brought out two concept cars, the UP! GTI and Golf GTI First Decade hybrid. Needless to say, this year will be another spectacular show.
VPCM is giving away an all-expense paid trip for two to attend the Wörthersee GTI Fest 2018 happening from 9 to 12 May. The contest is divided into two rounds. Round One will require participants to answer 10 Golf-related multiple-choice questions in the fastest time on VPCM’s official website and the top three fastest participants will advance to the Grand Finale.
The Grand Finale will take place at the Volkswagen Tour in 1Utama Shopping Centre on 31 March where the finalist will go head-to-head in a live quiz round. The Winner will be selected based on the fastest time, the most number of correct answers, subject to the decision by the panel of judges and announced at the end of the event.
Participants can familiarise themselves with the mechanics in the practice round before they begin the quiz. Participants may also submit multiple entries during the contest period. Good luck!
