Kuching-born Anehajit Kaur takes her first step to become an F1 engineer



Last week, candidates of 2017 Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) received their results and Anehajit Kaur, 18, with her stellar results of 8 A’s, have decided to enrol for Diploma in Motorsport Technology at Naza College of Technology. Marking her first step to achieve her dreams of being a Formula One race engineer.

“Ever since I was younger, I’ve always been intrigued by the thrilling sounds that F1 race cars make as they speed around the race track and watching F1 races on TV gave me so much excitement. One day, I decided that instead of just watching them on TV, I wanted to be a part of the team behind the beautiful yet powerful and precise race cars,” said Anehajit.During her two and a half years study, Anehajit will be exposed to knowledge pertaining to repair, service and modify vehicles to enhance performance. Upon graduation, she will be qualified to pursue a career in motorsports or choose to further her studies.
