Range Rover SV Coupe teased, four-seater coupe SUV to debut at Geneva

Land Rover has just announced that they will be launching the world’s first full-size luxury SUV coupe at the upcoming 2018 Geneva International Motor Show (GIMS). The new Range Rover SV coupe will be a limited run product of 999 examples worldwide.

The SV coupe will be hand-assembled by Land Rover’s Special Vehicles Operations (SVO) division which specialises in highly bespoke builds for the brand. Land Rover says that the new SUV celebrates the iconic two-door silhouette that has been part of Range Rover’s heritage since 1970. The limited run model will feature a seductive body design and a supremely refined interior.

SVO’s latest work, the Range Rover SVAutobiography

Based on the teaser image, the SV Coupe will feature the most exquisite materials like quilted leather, woodgrain trimmings, dual tone interior and the latest technologies offered by the company. It also appears to be a strict four-seater but does not seem to be based on the recently introduced SVAutobiography that came with Executive Cass rear seats and 1.2 metres worth of legroom.

Land Rover Chief Design Officer, Gerry McGovern said: “The Range Rover SV Coupé is a highly compelling design with peerless refinement and uncompromised sophistication from its breath-taking exterior proportions to its sumptuous, beautifully appointed, interior. This is a vehicle that will resonate on an emotional level.”

All 999 examples of the Range Rover SV Coupe will be hand-assembled at the SV Technical Centre in Warwickshire, UK and will be available to customers worldwide. The new SV Coupe will make its global premiere at the 88th GIMS.
