In demonstrating the prowess of its new grand tourer, Kia pitted the Stinger GT against the Porsche Panamera 3.0-litre V6 and the BMW 640i Gran Coupe and the results would blow you away.
The Stinger GT, officially the quickest Kia in the world, went head-to-head with both the German powerhouses twice its asking price in four different tests; 0 – 100 km/h, a cornering test, a slalom test and a close-course lap.
At the end, the Kia Stinger GT outperformed the BMW 640i Gran Coupe by a comfortable margin and was on par with the competent Porsche Panamera V6’s all-round performance.
Locally, we got to preview the Stinger GT in the flesh a few months back at the 2017 Malaysia Autoshow with no indication just yet on its arrival.
