Bookings for Perodua Myvi exceeds 20k, 4,500 units delivered to owners

Less than a month after the official debut of the fourth-generation Perodua Myvi, the company has collected over 20,000 bookings for the all-new Myvi and successfully delivered 4,500 units so far.

When the car was first teased at the 2017 Malaysia Autoshow, 5,000 prospective buyers placed their bookings for one before the car was unveiled in full. Just a week after pulling the wraps off the new Myvi, the bookings soared to 13,000 units and 1,000 owners collected the keys to their new car within the same period.

Perodua Sales Sdn Bhd Managing Director, YBhg Dato’ Dr. Zahari Husin said, “The focus now is to ensure delivery of the All-New Perodua Myvi within an acceptable time frame. We thank the public for choosing the Myvi as the car of choice.”

“Please speak with our authorised sales and service advisors about the many deals in store for you as they would have the latest and correct information about our offering. Please get an opportunity to test drive our all-new Myvi 1.5 and 1.3 and feel the experience,” Dato’ Zahari added.

Perodua has shifted 184,707 vehicles in the first 11 months of 2017, 1.2 percent increase compared to the same period last year. The company targets to sell an average of 6,000 units of the new Myvi monthly and remains positive to achieve annual sales target of 202,000 cars for 2017.
