In marking the end of the line for the Mercedes-AMG G 65, AMG has rolled out an exclusive Final Edition which will be limited to just 65 units worldwide.

The G-Class has been at the pinnacle of luxury off-road vehicles since 1979 and has been the longest production run in the history of Mercedes-Benz.

The Final Edition will come with a 6.0-litre V12 biturbo engine generating 630 hp with a hypercar-rivaling 1000 Nm, taking just 5.3 seconds to hit a 100 km/h from standstill before topping out at an electronically-limited 230 km/h top speed. Power is transferred to all four wheels with an AMG Speedshift PLUS 7G-TRONIC transmission.

Along with the twin turbochargers, the AMG also boasts multi-spark ignition with 12 twin-spark ignition units couple with an effective engine management system. The engine bay also sports a carbon fibre/aluminium engine cover for an elevated visual appeal.

On the outside, the Final Edition is defined with 21-inch 5-twin spoke light-alloy wheels in bronze, sheltering silver brake calipers. The radiator grille with black mesh screen is also painted in matt bronze while running boards and tailpipes are retained in matt black.

The Final Edition’s interior dons the designo Exclusive package consisting of designo black nappa leather with seat side bolsters in a carbon fibre look. Also included in the cabin is an AMG Performance flat-bottom steering wheel in black nappa leather. The Seat Comfort package includes multi contour, climatised seats at the front.

The Final Edition can be had effective immediately at a starting price of just 310,233 Euros (approx RM 1.5 million).
