If your X5 or X6 isn’t sporty enough, BMW introduces two new editions for it

BMW AG has introduced two new models to their Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV) and Sports Activity Coupe (SAC) line-up with the addition of the X5 special edition and BMW X6 M Sport Edition which will be available from December.

While it may look tamer than the Black Fire Editions, the X5 Special Edition sports the M Sport Package equipped with Dakota leather trims and heated seats for the two front passengers. Alcantara and leather upholstery combination in Anthracite and Black will be available as an alternative at no extra cost along with M badging on the seat.

The BMW X5 Special Edition also comes with sun protection glass and a Multifunctional Instrument Display – a pair not available for the BMW X5 xDrive40e iPerformance. All variants of the BMW X5 can be bought in with the Special Edition add-ons, with the exception of the M50d variant.

On the other hand, the M Sport Edition for the BMW X6 will be exclusively provided with Long Beach Blue metallic exterior alongside carbon fibre interior trims. Mineral White and Carbon Black metallic paint finishes are available as alternatives. What’s also included in the M Sport package is the set of 20-inch M light-alloy wheels in double-spoke design with 21-inch upgrades as an option. All variants of the BMW X6 can be spec-ed with M Sport Edition trims save for the BMW X6 M50d.
