“Better late than never” should be what the team at Mercedes-Benz Malaysia (MBM) had in mind when they unveiled the Mercedes-Benz E 350 e plug-in hybrid (PHEV) Edition 60. Launched alongside the regular E 350 e Exclusive and AMG Line, the Edition 60 was introduced in conjunction with our nations’ 60th Independence Day.
Build upon the regular E 350 e Exclusive, the Edition 60 gets unique interior trims as well as small additional details on the exterior. Priced at RM408,888, the Edition 60 carries a premium of RM13k over the E 350 e AMG Line and is limited to 60 units nationwide.

For that small sum of money, you get ultra-luxurious items such as 19-inch 6-spoke alloy wheels painted in black with high-sheen finish, two-tone (macchiato beige and saddle brown) Designo Nappa leather upholstery, Designo Piano lacquer trim, light brown ash wood trims on the centre console, Designo floor mats and high-gloss white painted vehicle key.
Mechanically it retains the 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol and electric motor combo. All 286 hp and 550 Nm of twisting force gets sent to the rear wheels via a nine-speed G-Tronic automatic. Sprinting from 0 to 100 km/h takes 6.2 seconds and on full whack it will do 250 km/h. Fuel economy is rated at 2.1 L/100 km.
Like the rest of the E 350 e family, the Edition 60 is also locally assembled right here in Pekan, Pahang. Demonstrating the company’s capabilities to locally produce high-quality and desirable limited-edition products for the Malaysian market.
