Just yesterday, we posted a story on Audi’s “on demand+” app which allows you to drive Audi’s comprehensive range of cars at hourly charges without the cost of ownership. Now Porsche Cars North America (PCNA) too is allowing you to experience their range – in Augmented Reality.
PCNA has just introduced a new 3D augmented reality app called the Porsche AR Imagine. The app literally places the brand into the hands of consumers – allowing them to design their own Porsche and digitally place it into their personal space such as on their porch.
Users can also customise their virtual Porsche by selecting from a range of exterior colours, wheel design and interior option but that’s not all. Once completed, you can also drive it in 3D augmented reality. Models on showcase now are the 911 Turbo S, 718 Boxter S and Panamera Turbo Sport Turismo. The free app is available iPhone and iPad from the App Store in the United States.

The Porsche AR-Imagine app is compatible with iPhone 6s or later, iPad Pro and iPad (2017) running iOS 11.
