Mercedes-Benz GLC Fuel-Cell to debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show next month

As we draw closer to the 2017 Frankfurt International Motor Show (IAA) happening in September, Mercedes-Benz is ready to bring out their big guns to stun the crowd. Up their sleeves are the GLC F-Cell EQ Power, EQ compact car concept, Mercedes-AMG Project One hypercar and the public premiere of the X-Class pick-up truck.

Mercedes-Benz have been studying the feasibility of all-electric hydrogen-powered vehicles for some time now and as more hydrogen refuelling stations are being set up in Germany, what better time to showcase the hydrogen powered GLC F-Cell EQ Power. The GLC F-Cell combines the versatility of an SUV with the merits of a long range, emission-free driving.

Another vehicle that will make its debut is a compact full-electric concept car. Information on the concept car is scarce at the moment but the company is looking to offer make electromobility available for the compact car buyers.

The Project One hypercar that is said to feature genuine Formula One hybrid technology will also make its first public appearance at the upcoming IAA, so is the X-Class that debuted recently.
