The first-generation BMW 7 Series debuted in the same year a certain Skywalker was introduced to the big screens. Today, the 7 Series flagship, currently in its sixth iteration turns 40 and BMW celebrates with the 7 Series 40 Jahre.
The 7 Series 40 Jahre (German for years) is offered across the entire G11/12 7 Series range and will be limited to just 200 units. It gets M Aerodynamics Package kit, high-gloss Shadow Line accents, 20-inch BMW Individual light alloy wheels and exclusive 40 Jahre badging on the B-pillar. Two exterior colours are available for this series: Frozen Silver and Dark Blue Petrol Mica.
The interior is packed with BMW Individual Merino fine grain leather upholstery, which can be had with two colour combinations – Smoke White and Cohiba or Smoke White and black. This comes with matching Smoke White piping and Alcantara Smoke White roof liner. The comfort seats are accented with hand woven piping in Smoke White. Two choices of dash accents are available: black piano lacquer finish or Eucalyptus wood with a Smoke Brown high gloss finish.
The BMW 7 Series 40 Jahre will be presented at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show this September.
