All-new Suzuki Swift Sport to debut soon at Frankfurt, gets 1.4L Turbo engine!

The Suzuki Swift Sport has always been one of the most affordable fun hatchbacks money could buy, before officially pulling out from the Malaysian market. Our friends in other markets however, can look forward to getting the third-generation Suzuki Swift Sport real soon.

According to Suzuki, the all-new Swift Sport has been redesigned from the ground up and will deliver “all-new levels of excitement for sport-minded drivers across the world”. Its styling is arguably more aggressive than the standard model, with diamond-cut alloys that mean business.

Just like the regular Swift, the Sport will also be the first to embrace turbocharging technology. The 1.4-litre Boosterjet petrol engine, paired with a six-speed manual, will be utilised. The Swift Sport is not all about brute power, but that said, key performance figures are still unknown at press time.

The 4.2-inch coloured LCD instrument screen and autonomous emergency braking from the standard hatch will be carried over to this model. More information on the Suzuki Swift Sport will be revealed closer to its world debut later in September.
