All-new 10th-gen Honda Accord previewed, to get 1.5L and 2.0L turbos!

The 10th incarnation of the Honda Accord is scheduled to make its global debut on 14 July in the United States. With just a few weeks to go, Honda released a single teaser picture of their latest D-segment darling.

It is with absolute certainty that the new Accord will bear the same corporate face as the Civic and CR-V. And just like the Civic, the new Accord will get a fastback-esque rear end. Honda claims the new Accord will feature a “dramatic new styling direction”, and it will be the most fun to drive Accord model ever crafted.

Earlier, it’s known that the new Accord is the third recipient of the 1.5-litre turbocharged VTEC four-cylinder engine, which will be mated to a CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) or a six-speed manual transmission. The most interesting of all is the range-topper Accord with a 2.0-litre turbocharged VTEC that’s paired to a 10-speed automatic transmission.

The unveiling of this 10th-generation Honda Accord will take place in Detroit, but the launch will be streamed online on YouTube.
