All-new Renault Megane RS can be had with 6-speed manual or dual clutch auto!

The fourth-generation Renault Megane RS has made its first public appearance at the 2017 Monaco Formula One Grand Prix. For the first time since the inception of the Megane RS, customers will be able to choose between a six-speed manual or an Efficient Dual Clutch (EDC) transmission.

Nico Hulkenberg, Renault Sport F1 Team driver, piloted the new Megane RS around Circuit de Monaco and he said “I got an opportunity to test All-New Mégane RS during its development and I was hooked first time out by the excellent chassis. Renault Sport has done a tremendous job on its performance credentials. It was a huge pleasure to drive it around the legendary street track at Monaco today.”

According to Renault Sport, the engineers have once again incorporated F1-derived technologies in the development of the fourth-gen Megane RS, further enhancing the aerodynamics, reliability and road holding performance.

The all-new Megane RS will be officially unveiled at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor show happening on 12 September and will go on sale in early 2018.
