New york, the world’s biggest Range Rover market, finally gets the Range Rover Velar, and it’s accompanied by Ellie Goulding, no less. The sweet singer even gets to drive the Range Rover Velar around town, before being auctioned at the East Side House Settlement charity gala (the Velar, not Ellie).

The winning bidder will be among the first customers in the world to get the Velar, but there were no mention whether it includes a dinner date with Goulding. “I have always been a big Range Rover fan and it was a pleasure to be a part of its launch here in the US. Even more rewarding to be supporting a local charity that improves over 10,000 lives every year in one of my favourite cities,” says Goulding. Isn’t that sweet of her?
Proceeds from the gala will be channelled to the East Side House Settlement, a non-profit organisation providing education and social services in the Bronx and north Manhattan. The Range Rover Velar is on sale in UK now, priced at £44,830 (approximately RM248,700), but deliveries won’t begin until late summer.
