TechArt GTstreet R Cabriolet: You’ll never want another topless 911

If you find the standard Porsche 911 Turbo too sedated for your liking, and fancy yourself an out-of-this-world 911 cabriolet, then you’re in luck. Allow us to introduce to you the TechArt GTstreet R Cabriolet.

Based on the drop-top Porsche 911 Turbo, this particular unit was tuned by famed German tuner specialising in Porsches – TechArt. This independent tuner has 30 years of experience in crafting ridiculously fast Porsches, something the folks at Stuttgart would have been proud of.

For starters, this 911 is reskinned with active aero bodykit that’s made of carbon fibre, with the sole purpose of generating massive downforce. It’s super lowered as well, which is why you can option a lift system to raise ride hide by 2.4 inches at the front. The wheel arches have been blown to fit a custom-made 20-inch forged alloys. Completing the back are quad pipes and an unreasonably large GT wing. Inside, the dashboard and seats are draped with a combination of Alcantara and leather.

Being tuners, TechArt managed to massage the 911 Turbo’s 3.8-litre engine to produce 711 hp and 919 Nm of torque, which is close to hypercar territory. The 0-100 km/h sprint is completed in 2.7 seconds, and top speed is clocked at 338 km/h!

So to 911 Turbo Cabriolet owners who might have missed their chance to own the 918 hypercar, consider giving TechArt a call to help dress that wound?
