The third-generation BMW 6 Series has yet to be replaced. While we wait in anticipation, BMW went on to introduce a new limited edition variant for the 6 Series, called the M Sport Limited Edition.
Available only for the coupe, convertible, and gran coupe variants, the M Sport gets the striking Sonic Speed Blue paint and 20-inch M lightweight alloy wheels. The exterior gets mirror caps with carbon fibre finishing, whereas the cabin gets upholstered in two-tone Merino leather. Other additions include carbon fibre trimmings and illuminated doorsills with “M Sport Limited Edition” inscribed.
No upgrades have been made under the hood. As a refresher, the 6 Series can be had with three engines – two gasoline and one diesel. Petrol variants include a 320 hp turbocharged six-cylinder engine and a 450 hp naturally aspirated V8, while the straight-six turbodiesel lump packs 313 hp. All engines are paired with the ZF-sourced eight-speed automatic transmission.
We don’t know for sure if the BMW 6 Series M Sport Limited Edition will make it to Malaysia. BMW Malaysia is currently offering the F06 6 Series Gran Coupe which starts at RM788,800.00.
