A 53-year old man from Kuantan struck gold after he was announced as the lucky winner of Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia’s Chinese New Year Campaign.
The jubilant Syed Mohammed Sohaimi was one of many participants, all of whom qualified for the promotion after purchasing a brand new Volkswagen vehicle. Sohaimi’s choice of car was the Volkswagen Vento 1.2L TSI.
“I am very surprised and grateful for this win as I did not expect it all. When I test drove the car, I immediately felt the difference. I plan to use the money and take my family to perform Umrah, so thank you Volkswagen. I am now a fan,” said Sohaimi.
The campaign ran from 1 January to 15 February 2017. Besides the grand prize, other Volkswagen owners also received cash-back ang pows ranging from RM388 to RM1,288.
