If your beloved car has over 100,000km on the odometer, you might want to pay heed to this. Shell Malaysia has just launched their new Shell Helix High Mileage 15W-50 synthetic engine oil that’s specially formulated for – you guessed it – high mileage vehicles.
Shell has incorporated the Flexi Molecule Technology to offer advanced protection for high mileage vehicles. Besides that, it also contains Active Cleansing Technology that is able to remove up to 34 percent of sludge on average within the first service! The oil also features thicker formulation to help prevent oil leaks from ageing seals, gasket and worn parts.
The recommended retail price for a four-litre pack of Shell Helix High Mileage 15W-50 is RM148 in Peninsular Malaysia while Sabah and Sarawak retails for RM150. A one-litre pack on the other hand retails for RM40 in Peninsular Malaysia and RM41 in Sabah and Sarawak.
Customers who service their car with this motor oil at participating workshops from 15 March to 15 May 2017 will receive RM25 off for every four-litre pack purchased.
According to the Managing Director of Shell Malaysia Trading Sdn Bhd, Mr. Shairan Huzani Husain, the Shell Helix Mileage 15W-50 engine oil is best suited for drivers with high mileage cars that are looking for an engine oil that can restore their beloved engine to its former glory.
“Drivers should choose the engine oil that gives the best performance and compatibility for their respective vehicle. If you have been constantly servicing your high mileage car with Shell Helix Ultra for example, and you feel that your engine is still in healthy condition, you should continue with Helix Ultra,” said Mr. Husain.
