This Gemballa Avalanche 911 Turbo gets an obscene 809 hp & 948 Nm!

The standard Porsche 911 Turbo has already established itself as a supercar equal, but everyone loves to push the envelope, no? German tuning specialists Gemballa is en route to Geneva with a beast they call the Gemballa Avalanche, and for good reason.

In stock form, the 911 Turbo gets a 3.8-litre flat-six engine that pushes out 540 hp and is enough for a 3.0-second century sprint. Gemballa however, aims to massage the boxer to punch way above its weight class with a stratospheric output of 809 hp and 948 Nm of torque! Complementing the colossal gains are Gemballa’s very own body kit, comprised on modified front and rear bumpers, signature golden wheels, purple paint finish and… a rather ugly but functional spoiler.

According to the tuners, the Gemballa Avalanche is an indefinable creation of engine sounds, power and acceleration to blast you across the horizon. It was founded by Uwe Gemballa in 1981 before dwindling into a crisis following the passing of its founder in 2010. They however bounced back with new owners.

The Gemballa Avalanche 911 Turbo will be joined by the GTR 780 Evo in Geneva. We’d take one, but God… not the spoiler please.
