2017 Mercedes-Benz E 300 AMG Line now available, priced at RM458,888

Last year, when Mercedes-Benz Malaysia (MBM) launched the all-new W213 E-Class, the company announced that a range topping E 300 will join the line up soon after. For those of you who have been desperately waiting for the more potent E-Class, this one is all yours for a cool RM458,888.

Motivating this Masterpiece of Intelligence is the same 2.0-litre turbocharged inline four found in the rest of the E-Class range. Only here in the E 300, it pushes out 245 hp and 370 Nm of torque. Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a nine-speed automatic transmission. Key performance figures are: 6.2 seconds century sprint time and 250 km/h electronically limited top speed. The E 300 consumes slightly more fuel at 6.3 litres per 100 km compared to 5.9L/100 km rated on the lower range models.
