Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe Night Edition revealed, launch in Detroit 2017

If you feel like the standard Mercedes-Benz S-Class is too commonplace and predictable, then perhaps you’d like to take a look at the two-doored variant. In fact, in January at Detroit, Mercedes-Benz will unveil the S-Class Coupe Night Edition, a special run for the select few.

The “Night Edition” pretty much sums up its exclusivity. Packaged as standard are the new distinctive radiator grille, 20-inch AMG wheels, mirror housings and dark side sills. The exterior is finished with exclusive “Selenite Gray Magno” with matte finishing. Finally, the “Night Edition” badge appears on each side of the front fender.Mercedes-Benz S-Klasse Coupé Night Edition

Inside, customers can choose the upholstery material, ranging from Nappa leather, AMG Nappa leather or a combination of suede and leather. The hides can be had in black, Crystal Grey, Saddle Brown or Bengal Red. Regardless of your choice, each choice will come with black accents.

The Night Edition is offered in three forms: S400 4MATIC, S500, and S500 4MATIC. The S400 is powered by a 3.0-litre V6 unit that produces 367 hp and 500 Nm of torque. The S500 gets the 4.6-litre V8 lump that makes 455 hp and 700 Nm of torque. The V6 can perform a 0-100km/h sprint in 5.6 seconds, while the V8 does that in 4.6 seconds. Mercedes-Benz S-Klasse Coupé Night Edition

This exquisite Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe Night Edition will be displayed at the Detroit Motor Show next month. Back at home, the S-Class Coupe is only available in the sole S63 guise and retails from RM1.5 million.
