McLaren unveils new Design Edition for 570S, five designs to choose from

Personalising a McLaren 570S can be described as a love-hate affair. The sheer variety of colour themes for the Sports Series would put anyone on the fence. Should the brake calipers be finished in red to match the Vermilion Red paintjob or should they be in silver to contrast with the stealthy wheels? See what I mean?

Well, McLaren is going to make the personalisation process easier with their new Design Edition models exclusively for 570S. From McLaren’s very own designers, the team has put together five different design combination based on the designers’ choice on exterior paint, wheel style and finish, exhaust style, and brake caliper colour, taking the popular “By McLaren” personalisation themes a stage further.2016 McLaren 570S Designer Edition Unveiled

On top of the £8,500 (RM47k) Designer Edition pack, customers are still able to specify other optional extras and MSO parts to their hearts’ desire. Previously, the Designer Edition’s parts can be had à la carte for their individual prices, however the all-in option price offers significant savings than the single option pricing.

McLaren are currently taking orders for the Designer Edition 570S with first deliveries expected to commence in 2017. Now there’s no need to scratch your head for design ideas!
